Dear Kaixuan,

I was pleased to receive your letter a fortnight ago. I’m sorry that I did not reply to your letter earlier as I was sick. I am glad you liked the stamp album. Yesterday, I visited the bookshop and bought you the latest book in Harry Potter series. I will send it to you later this week.

In your letter you sounded rather worried about your PMR examination. Please don’t worried, Kaixuan. I am sure you will do well. You have always been a conscientious student. Just continue to work hard and everything will turn out fine. You said you have a study timetable – that’s good. However, remember to make time for play too.

Why don’t you come and stay with Uncle Lim and me during your August holidays? We’d love to see you. Uncle Lim can help you with your Mathematics and Science. Bring all your school books with you as well then you can revise the other subjects while you are here. There’s a new theme park that Uncle Lim is keen to visit except that he has no one to go with him now that your cousins are away in England. So, he’s looking forward to going there with you. You can go there to relax after you have done your revision. It’ll be a lot of fun, I am sure.

If you like, I could ask your mom and dad to let you visit us. I am sure that they will agree to the visit. Bye for now.

Love,

Auntie Joyce
